Meno: Menopausal app for women welfare
As a part of the OPTUM case competition at Carnegie Mellon University, My team developed an app for menopausal care for women of color to provide them with better care.
According to the brief, we were supposed to target the under represented group and provide the OPTUM services to better reavh and provide welfare to the community. during our initial research we found out that the menstrual care of the women is very much under represented and the most severe cases were with the women of color.
the insights form the research was the women of color have the most severe cases when it comes to Menstrual care. genetically and within society, the education and awareness regarding having better menstrual care are very scarse. so a platform for them to come forward and discuss and get help was needed.
