My professional journey commenced as a Digital Modeler with esteemed organizations, namely Hero Moto Corp and Maruti Suzuki India, both prominent entities in the automotive domain. I embarked on my career trajectory as a digital sculptor intern with Maruti Suzuki India, an experience that provided me with foundational insights and skills. This association extended into a contractual role spanning a year until March 2020, during which time I was an integral part of the interior design department. My responsibilities encompassed the design and development of vehicles spanning the A and B segments.
-
Transitioning to Hero Moto Corp marked the next chapter of my career, where I was part of the industrial design team specializing in the packaging of scooters and motorcycles tailored for the Indian market. My tenure was characterized by a collaborative approach in crafting designs that resonated with the unique demands and preferences of Indian consumers. While my contributions have been substantial, it's important to note that some of the projects I worked on with Hero are pending launch, indicative of the forward-thinking and innovative nature of the work.

-
My professional journey encompassed comprehensive involvement in the development of the instrument panel, from its initial ideation stages to the ultimate release of the finalized Class A model. This engrossing undertaking spanned a meticulous product lifecycle of 12 months, meticulously progressing from the inaugural design review to the conclusive assessment that heralded the commencement of the printing phase.
-
During this rewarding endeavor, I functioned as an integral team member, working in close collaboration with the Design lead. My role entailed overseeing the intricate nuances of the product's various trims. This encompassed the strategic ownership of the Quarter trim, along with the intricate task of seamlessly merging these trims with the roof structure.
-
This venture was both challenging and profoundly enlightening, particularly due to the paramount importance of packaging the informatics components in harmony with the vehicle's H-point considerations. Navigating these intricate design and engineering considerations endowed me with invaluable insights and proficiency.

-
The development of the LCD screen for the vehicle's dashboard presented a sophisticated design challenge that demanded meticulous consideration. In response to varying user preferences, we undertook the task of creating two distinct sizes: 7" and 9". The assembly design was ingeniously crafted to allow for customization of the LCD screen, accommodating the user's choice seamlessly.
-
Moreover, as part of our commitment to innovation and offering enhanced experiences, a holographic display was conceptualized specifically for the higher-end vehicle variant. This addition was strategically designed to elevate the dashboard's technological prowess, catering to a more discerning audience seeking cutting-edge features.

-
The center console design project presented a multifaceted challenge that required meticulous attention to detail and innovative problem-solving. One of the primary objectives was to ensure the seamless integration of both manual and automatic transmission configurations within the center console design. This demanded a thoughtful approach to create a unified yet versatile design that accommodated both functionalities.
-
An additional layer of complexity was introduced by the inclusion of rear-facing AC vents within the center console. This design decision necessitated a strategic reconfiguration of the HVAC components, compelling their integration within the central area of the console. This integration showcased our commitment to optimizing space utilization and enhancing user comfort.
-
However, perhaps the most intricate aspect of this project revolved around the implementation of the chrome feature. This elegant chrome accent, extending from the steering column and traversing the entire length to the center console, epitomized the fusion of aesthetics and engineering. This aspect was particularly challenging due to the need for impeccable precision and alignment across varying components and materials.

-
During my internship, I had the privilege of contributing to the development of accessories for a segment B vehicle. This experience was both insightful and enriching as I actively participated in the entire product lifecycle. Over the course of a month, my team and I successfully conceived, designed, and brought to fruition several essential components.
-
Among the notable achievements were the complete development of critical elements such as the bumper corner protector, mudflap, door visor, and spoilers. These accessories were meticulously designed and refined to enhance both the vehicle's aesthetic appeal and functional utility. This process demanded a delicate balance between form and function, a challenge we adeptly addressed.

Digital Modeler at Hero Moto Corp
During my tenure at Hero, I was a valuable member of the digital modeling team, a role that allowed me to contribute extensively to the development of two scooters and three distinct motorcycles. My primary responsibility encompassed the transformation of industrial designers' creative visions into tangible digital models, all while ensuring feasibility and integration within the overall design framework.
A substantial portion of my role entailed harmonizing design aesthetics with functional considerations, a task that necessitated a meticulous approach. This involved collaborating closely with industrial designers to translate their artistic concepts into practical design elements. Simultaneously, I navigated the complex landscape of clearances and safety parameters, a critical facet that underpinned the creation of vehicles offering a secure and enjoyable ride for users.

-
My engagement with this project occurred during its final stages of refinement and development. Within this crucial timeframe, my focus was centered on pivotal aspects, particularly the conceptualization and realization of the utility box and storage unit for the vehicle. This compartmentalized storage solution was meticulously designed to accommodate not only a helmet but also an array of utilities, emphasizing both convenience and practicality.
-
The culmination of our efforts resulted in the vehicle's triumphant launch as the Hero Xoom in 2023, exemplifying the dedication and expertise invested in its creation.
-
Simultaneously, my involvement extended to the conception and development of a 125 CC Scooter, a promising venture that currently resides within the realms of active development. With a targeted release slated for 2024, this endeavor holds great promise and anticipates becoming a noteworthy addition to our portfolio.

Being part of the Hero Moto Corp team, I had the privilege of contributing significantly to a pivotal project early in my tenure. Joining the team during the mid-stage of development, I played a vital role in shaping the project's outcome through a harmonious blend of design expertise and engineering acumen. This project marked a significant milestone as my inaugural full-body endeavor with the company.

-
My involvement extended to the meticulous assembly of the tail lamp and the rear cowl, where strategic design decisions were made to optimize both form and functionality. A particularly noteworthy achievement was the seamless integration of the rear grab handle for the rear passenger within the rear cowl design. This integration was a result of a deliberate focus on user-centric ergonomics, ensuring a comfortable and secure grip for passengers.
-
To enhance aesthetic and dynamism led to the conceptualization of the tank cover. This innovative design was conceived synchronized with rider ergonomics, providing optimal thigh support during rides. Navigating the necessity for a flat tank opening surface, we undertook the development of a bespoke tank opening accessory. This accessory was meticulously crafted to not only harmonize seamlessly with the overall design language but also to impeccably meet the stringent demands of engineering specifications.
